The beginning
A childhood surrounded by silver and stone
Nisha grew up in Jaipur — the Pink City, the gemstone capital of the world. As a child, she spent hours wandering the narrow lanes of Johari Bazaar, transfixed by the shimmer of raw gemstones and the sound of silver being hammered into shape in tiny workshop doorways.
She didn't just see jewelry. She saw stories — of the hands that made it, the stones pulled from the earth, and the women who wore it as armor, as memory, as identity.
"Growing up in Jaipur, jewelry wasn't decoration — it was language. Every piece told you where someone came from, what they valued, who they loved."
That reverence for craft never left her. Even as Nisha built a life in Maryland, USA, Jaipur stayed with her — in the way she noticed the weight of a well-made ring, the way she reached for silver over everything else.
